
Brooks County High 9th Grade Orientation
BCHS—As the new school year approaches, Brooks County High School is gearing up for their upcoming freshman year with their 9th grade orientation. This orientation is strictly for upcoming 9th grade students and their parents.
The reason behind this orientation is to help parents and students alike, learn all about the transition from middle school, what to expect on the journey through high school and so much more. Parents will receive valuable information on ways to support their children through the last four years of high school, what to expect for their children, and how to help their child(ren) succeed.
Key subjects spoken about within the orientation include but are not limited to:
- Navigating the hallways
- Understanding your schedule
- Handling extracurricular activities
- Building relationship
- Understanding what the next year will bring in the form of help
Brooks County High School has scheduled this year’s event on July 27, 2023 to be held in the Brooks County High School cafeteria beginning at 9 a.m. and lasting to 11 a.m. BCHS is asking that everyone help spread the word and for parents to attend if possible.
