Brooks County Middle School FFA Students work tirelessly to compete in various FFA categories for the local region and state. This year, three of BCMS FFA students worked all season long and dedicated their time to perfecting their hog showing.
Throughout this week BCMS FFA students competed in the Perry FFA Hog Show and Market. Announced by Brooks County FFA weekly highlights were:
Cotton Edmundson who competed at state for the first time with his market barrow. It is his second year showing pigs.
Luke Hylton placed 4th overall for 10th grade showmanship. He also exhibited a 1st and 2nd place market gilt.
Adleigh Greene placed 7th overall for 8th grade showmanship and exhibited a 3rd place market gilt.
Congratulations to these young students in their competition. Best of luck for their future.
