Brooks County—Homecoming week for the BC School system is fast approaching. This year’s homecoming week for the schools will be held October 9th through October 13th. Each school will be celebrating their week with a theme. To make sure your student is ready for that day’s events, here is a look at each of the schools’ themes and what they can wear during that weekday.
Brooks County Schools will have “Turn Up the Music!” theme. On the 9th of October, Monday, your student can dress as their favorite music artist. Tuesday, students are allowed to dress in their best disco attire! Wednesday, students get to keep their pjs on so long as it is a musical PJ. Thursday is, of course, Throwback Thursday so students get to dress in their favorite musical era. Friday students can help cheer the BCHS Trojans by dressing in their favorite Trojan Spirit Gear!
The Brook County Early Learning Center will be slightly different with the same theme. Students here can dress like rock stars on Monday. Need to wear a classic white T-shirt on Tuesday for Classic Music Day. Wednesday they can wear their favorite pjs. Thursday is “feeling the blues” so wear the color blue, and Friday, yep you guessed it, Trojan Spirit Gear!
The Brooks County High School Trojan Football Team Homecoming Game will be held at Veteran’s Stadium in Quitman, Georgia on October 13, 2023 beginning at 7 p.m. Homecoming King and Queen will be announced for 2023 and Brooks County Marching Trojans will be playing as well. Mark your calendars!
For any questions, concerns, or for more information of each schools’ policies during this week please contact your students local school, or the Board of Education.
