On Saturday, August 27th, the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a stolen jeep. That suspect, Victor Nash, was found trying to proceed with another theft when the officers were called again on August 28th. The officers and some civilians caught Nash fleeing in the stolen jeep. Nash was booked into the Brooks County Jail by Officer Harrod on August 28th at 11:13 a.m.
Nash was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer for a felony offense, reckless driving, burglary in the 1st and 2nd degrees, twice for theft by taking, theft of service, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and first offend of portion, and possession of a firearm/knife during the commission of a crime. Nash has been denied bond and will continue to be in the Brooks County Jail until his next court appearance.
Nash has a previous charge in Brooks County for harassing phone calls in 2015.
